Dwight Supremacy! That's brilliant! Great article. I'll never understand those who blindly fall for the schtick of shitebags like him, and those across the pond.

They share the same intelligence as those who still think that trumpy is the saviour.

Let me try that again...

They share the same ignorance as those who still think that trumpy is the saviour!

Actually, either works.

So pleased I found this stack! Finding levity in the midst of the daily crap of political power struggles is helping me!

Those are kind words, Kate…thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying Ugly Politix. Truth be told, that’s part of why I write these pieces…it’s a kind of mild amateur therapy! (As well as a key part of Open Britain’s mission.) 🙏🏻

But, by writing about him you’re playing his game by his rules.

Disagree strongly (but respectfully). This isn’t a binary issue. There is, of course, validity to the point you make but there is also an argument that we need to expose a much wider audience to what he is and the danger he poses. That makes it an issue that needs to be weighed, not a ‘do it / don’t do it’ decision. On balance, I believe there is net benefit to challenging him in the way I do…so that’s the call I make. I fully accept that others may disagree or calibrate these weights differently.

you have not mentioned Elon Musk - he finances Robinson's court actions. The richest man on the planet is funding TOMMY ROBINSON, He does not lack for big money support

Quite right, Trevor. Robinson is considerably richer than me and has enjoyed a lavish lifestyle. In front of the cameras, he paints himself as part of a noble working class struggling with economic survival; away from them, he is reported to lead a hidden life of luxury, complete with chemically enhanced parties in numerous overseas properties. Proper hero.

This article shows that the whole of the right wing in the UK is a joke. Too many people vying for a position that they think will enhance their lives. In truth they’ll be reviled more than anyone else in the country. In my view it makes them all look like a rag tag, unorganised bunch of chancers brainwashing the less educated. I may be wrong, but Luton’s greatest export is Vauxhall (RIP), not some fly by night alleged journalist. I didn’t think they had any journalists on the payroll at the Beano.

Reggie Ragebait, that made me explode with laughter. My family thought I had lost the plot again.

Keep it up!

Didn't he have a hit record some years ago with, "Sing if You're Glad to be Gay" , or was that another Tommy Robinson?

Years ago, I was part of a huge Remain demonstration in London, when I briefly met a former follower of Yaxley-Lennon. He had just seen his hero at a side rally and seemed deeply shocked. An otherwise reasonable citizen, he bridled at the hateful words he’d heard and the frisson of violence he’d felt in the crowd. Twenty minutes was all he could endure. He said “After what I’ve witnessed, frankly I find myself siding more with Remain”. Right wing propaganda does not prepare decent people for the reality of Fascism in the flesh.

Great piece. "They" have called me a sheeple and brainwashed but can't themselves string together a coherent sentence.

I am pleased to see that you lump the lying, neo-Nazi, Farage with the dementia-ridden lump of lard from across the pond.

Both are truly despicable people and should be thrown out with the rubbish along with Robinson Whatever alias you give the low-life.

Yes but that will solve nothing. All it will do is feed Into their rhetoric. You are an enabler of those you oppose. It won't work. You can't tell millions I'm right you're wrong the end. They won't have it.
